Replacing nest wifi router with another nest wifi router from my other home

My nest wifi router would no longer power up after electrical surge.  Plugged in a preciously used nest router from another home and also another Google Home. Set up with the cable modem.   It works to provide wifi but I cannot connect to the mesh wifi satellites.  I manually reset satellites but the qr code set up fails...says incorrect.   I also "left" the google Home from the other router.   I would like to start a new Home with this preciously used router and also change name of the router and of course connect the mesh points.  Cannot seem to find a sequence that works.  Please help.

@MrMeHiker You'll need to factory reset those satellite Wifi points using the physical button on them to be able to set them up again:
