Router and Google Nest WiFi

RoboXombie

I am wondering if I am able to have my modem plugged into my Linksys router and then a Google Nest into the router to broadcast to other Google Nest devices in my house?

If I cannot do it this way, can I connect Modem > > Google Nest > > Linksys and Google will still broadcast to other Google Nest devices?

I have to keep the available ethernetports for work devices but I want to use the WiFi mesh ability of Google.
