When I try to connect through SSH to an external server or obtain my emails via imap it is not working if I'm connected through the Nest WiFi.

It does work if I'm connected through LAN cable, though. So maybe an issue that the relevant ports are not open on the firewall?
My setup is that the Nest is behind a Xfinity router which runs on bridge mode.

Hello Max3333,

Sorry for losing track of this. I am back from vacation now. From what I can tell from that trace, the TCP connection does open successfully. So, if the SSH connection doesn't complete, that would be an issue at a higher layer. There may be something really odd going on in your network, though. If you connect the same client device to WiFi 2, it works, but doesn't work when connected to WiFi 1? Because that doesn't make sense – if your diagram is correct, all of the traffic from WiFi 2 is going through the Google Nest Router.

I would try to simplify things as much as possible to eliminate as many variables as possible. Pick one client device to test with so you're only changing how it's connected. Try it via Ethernet directly into Google Nest Router's LAN Ethernet port. Then try it via WiFi connected to the Google Nest Router's WiFi 1. They should both work identically. If they don't, I'd start wondering whether you have the same SSID for WiFi 1 and WiFi 2, for example.

Hey, everyone.

I'm just checking in real quickly to see if there's anything else we needed here or if we were able to resolve the issue. If there's anything more I can do, let me know.

Thanks
