Hello Edward,

Thank you for your reply with regards to my Question. At this time I am  not experiencing any problems with the current setup.

I believe that the Wi-Fi is directing the devices to what is required between 5Gz  & 2.4Gz.

Thank you for your input earlier.

You can't, it doesn't exist.  Google don't believe you need to manage them separately.  Both channels will be enabled, you'll need to use a Wifi Analyzer type app on your phone if you want to identify signal strengths and channels for each band.

Does that mean we can't choose separate passwords for the 2 channels?  My doorbell camera will only work on 2.4 Ghz and they told me I have to put a different password on that channel from the 5Ghz.

No, it's not possible, the 2 channels are part of the same wifi network. Your doorbell cam should just request a 2.4ghz connection and your wifi will respond. I can't think why it would need a different password, but you could always use the WiFi guest network

Hi roskette,

Thanks for the update. Is your camera communicating fine with your devices after connecting it to the guest network?

Thanks,

Edward
