Slow Wifi Speed with Google Nest wifi

Hi Support Team,

I have Google Nest Wifi Router with two points. When I'm doing the mesh connection points test it says good speed, and also when I'm doing the speed test it says 500MB download which is good. The problem is when I'm using other speed test apps, sites like okla, speedtest.com, fast.com I'm getting 60MB download speed connection via my Iphone 12. Also, I tried to do a speed test from my smart tv, and I get the same slow speed results, 50 -60MB speed download. Note: My speed at home is 500MB, and when I'm using LAN directly, I'm getting 500MB, but wifi is 50 -60 mb via other download speed test apps and sites.

Can you please assist and let me know why I'm getting such a slow connection via wifi with Google Nest?

I have the exact same issue. I have a 1Gbps (official) connection. The speed from the Nest router is very fast, no problem there. However on all my WiFi devices its varies between 20-50Mbps... Fastest i've seen is 70Mbps.

I've tried moving the points, resetting everything. Including standing right next to the router when testing. No dice.

I'm still using the Gen2 Nest router. I meant the fiber box from the ISP, fiber modem.

With the new modem you got, is it a modem only, or is it a modem and router combo? Does it create its own wireless signal as well?

Its a router modem combo. I have disabled All WiFi on the router modem combo

HI Jeff, I am having the same issue with Sky Wifi. Wifi on the main modem is 800Mb while if I use Google Nest I get max 60 Mb in Download and 120Mb in upload... very strange.

How can I fix it?
