Spotify causing Google Wifi Issues?

I have been a longtime Spotify user with multiple types of speaker groups set up around my house, with up to 8 speakers in a group (Google Wifi Pro as router).  Lately, I've noticed frequent drops while playing Spotify on the home network, something that doesn't seem to happen when I play through YouTube music.  There have even been instances where it seems to cause my wifi to need to be restarted.  is it possible it's the Spotify interface with Home and Google Wifi?

Hey @yoteshowl .

If you haven't had issues before now with Spotify and now do it is likely the Spotify app. There was an update on 4/14/23. If the issue occurred after you installed that update, then it is the update. If the issue is occurring but you haven't updated Spotify, install the update and see if the issue persists.

You can also try removing Spotify as a service and add it back:
