I have many movies in my iTunes library and I share the library to my LAN. My iMac is located on the main level of my condo connected to Google wifi access point in the same room. My TV room is on the lower level. All devices are connected to my LAN by wifi. My wifi is provided by the 1st generation of Google wifi mesh router. Google wifi consists of router connected to Xfinity modem on lower level, family room access point on lower level, main living area access point on main floor, and office access point on main floor. Google Home says the mesh system has great connections.
Randomly my movie will stop streaming from my home library. I can immediately reconnect to it and start playing again but it will disconnect again. Is my only option to fix this to use Ethernet rather than Wi-Fi?
Thanks for posting — let's see what's going on.
Are you using a modem/router combo from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Also, do you have any paused devices?
