Trying to set up my nest wifi and get error Can’t connect” after scanning QR code.

Hey, Dahlia.

Sorry for the setup issues you're having. I know it can be frustrating to have a new device and not be able to get it working correctly. Let's figure this out and get things working properly for you.

I do have a few questions.

  • Have you tried setting up the devices without the QR code and by using the setup code on the device instead?
  • Do you get an error with the main router, or is it only on the points?
  • How do you have your device wired? Does it go from your ISP's modem directly to the router, or is there anything in between?
  • Is your modem from your ISP a modem only, or is it a modem/router combo?
