My google nest mesh are working fine, until suddenly the whole 3 mesh points and my router are unable to connect to my ISP last week (3rd week of March). My ISP has fixed the issue (something to do with vLan ID), and my google nest router are now able to have wifi connection.
However now the problem is that the Nest point can't connect to the router.
When I try to connect a new point, it will work fine until it reach the 'waiting for the final bits of setup to complete mesh' and then 'the operation timed out and couldn't be completed' and failed to connect to the wifi.
I have tried all the recommended answers here (http proxy, cloud relay, ipv6, etc)
and here (deleting and reinstalling the home app, disabling wifi assist)

Have also tried using the google home app in my ipad, still doesn't work. I don't have any android device to try from.
Any help please? Quite desperate since I have 3 nest points to connect and I need them to have adequate internet coverage throughout the house.

Same thing happened to me. I tried getting help from customer service online and they couldn't help and when they found out I purchased mine 16 months ago they gave up trying. Even they consider their products trash now.

@v1ncensia, @Donewithalphabe, please make sure that your phone and Google Home app are up-to-date. Reboot your phone, then factory reset all your Google Nest Wifi devices and configure a new network with a new WiFi password with only letters and numbers. Add your Nest Wifi points afterwards and let me know if you still encountered the same message.

My router won't complete the factory reset.

I have done all that:
- making sure the phone and home app are the latest update. Even re-installing the google home app
- restarted my phone
- factory resetting everything
- setting up a new wifi network with a different name, even trying putting the nest point in a new custom room (saw one of this custom room suggestion in another thread)
All still doesn't work...
