Using Nest Wifi - Mesh Router (AC2200) as a point

Hi,

I used the "Nest Wifi - Mesh Router (AC2200) and 2 points" setup from 12/2021. Now I have moved to a new home with an AT&T WIFI Router installed as part of the community plan. Now, is it possible to use Mesh Router (AC2200) as an additional point along with 2 other points with AT&T WiFi router? Appreciate any input/feedback!!

Regards,

Peddina

No, Nest Wifi will not form a mesh with a third party router, such as your AT&T router.

The best thing to do would be to put your AT&T router into IP passthrough mode, and use the Wi-Fi network created by your Nest Wifi router and points, not your AT&T router.
