What cat 6 cable do I need to connect the mesh hub to an additional access point is it straight through or a cross-over?

Hi @24879845

You can use a regular cat 5e or cat 6 cable. 🙂

All Google Wifi and Nest Wifi with ethernet ports (that excludes the "Nest Wifi point", which has no ports) has gigabit ports:

Any ethernet cable that is gigabit compatible (or greater) within the length of which you are going to use should be fine. Typically CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6a.

I don't work for Google.

Any CAT6 cable will do just make sure it’s long enough to reach the point
