What to do with old onhub?

Will Google just open onhub to web interface?

I have been using onhub as mesh network for a while.  I have upgraded my internet now.

However, it seems like a lot of e-waste since I have five (5) onhub that will no longer be working.

I mean these are perfectly good routers, but would not have the online support.  I find it kind of a waste.

Google is ending support so I suspect not. They won't stop working, and will still provide a Wi-Fi signal, you just won't be able to manage them or change settings anymore.

Support for OnHub routers ending in 2022

I understand. But that means you cannot change wifi password or anything.

It still makes it a e-waste. I don't mind no updates, but without basic maintenance like changing password or on and off wifi seems unacceptable.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion. As mentioned previously, the OnHub devices will continue to work, but management will no longer be possible through the apps. Upgrading to a newer device is definitely the preferred path, but it will be possible to continue to use the OnHub devices beyond the cutoff date.
Thanks
