Wi FI nest poor connection

Hi,

I have google nest router in my living room and 1 point upstairs in my bedroom. All was working good but sundently the wifi signal just went down, i did check my main router all was ok, i did have a supplier technician from Virgin media to check my moden and internet and everything is perfect.

After an speed test on the app is showing my real speed but when i do test with my notebook ou in my phone i'm having a joke of 10mb from 1GB that it should be.

I had the mesh all reset from the factory settings and setting up all again and my problem persists.

Any one have an ideia what i can do to fix it ?

Thanks.

Sorry to tell you that you will probably continue to have these issues. I have owned 3 different Google wifi mesh routers and everyone of them have done the same thing. This is a VERY well known issue with Google/ Nest routers and unfortunately Google is not admitting to it. Take a look around other forum communities here and you will see how many reports there are on this. It is literally worthless to contact customer service as they are the worst. My advice is to bit the bullet and buy new routers that are not Google related.

hi, yes i had a look around others foruns and yes is the same answer i did managed to call google support they blame my supplier and i did what they asked me for and i still having 5mb from 1gb speed.

I already started to look after a new wi fi kit.

All of these options have been tried as I have been trouble shooting with Google for 6 months, unfortunately there is no fix as it is a known issue with Google. Only fix I have found is to buy a new router that is not Google and my internet problem has been solved, it has been wonderful for the last several weeks not having issues with internet wifi dropping

Hello folks,

Thanks for the help, @Dianahemes.

@vhuk87 and @Catalano1979, I’m sorry to hear you’re both having this issue. You mentioned that you’re already in contact with our Google support. Could you provide the case ID number of your interaction so I can take a look? I’ll wait for your reply.

Hey there Catalano1979,

I tried checking on this case ID number and I'm not able to pull up a case. Could you please check your inbox for any emails sent by wificare@google.com? You should be able to see the case ID in the subject head.

Regards,
Abi

Here is the case number from the last WiFi care email I received Re: Your Google Support Inquiry: Case ID [2-0254000032960]
