I can’t get Wi-Fi to show in the Google home app. I want to create user groups but it won’t find my Google fiber internet when I do the search. HELP!!! 🙂

Could you tell us a bit more about what you are trying to achieve? And with what Google products? Google Nest Wifi and Google Fiber is not the same thing.

Hi Olav, I have Google fiber and I am under the impression that I can control usage through the Google home app on my iPhone. Specifically I want to be able to disable Wi-Fi for a kids devices when he doesn’t listen or finish his chores. Is that possible?

Google Fiber is controlled by the Google Fiber app, apperently (we don't have it in Norway, I have no personal experience with it):
Seems it has some family controls:

Hi, Jmnuss.
I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw olavrb's last reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping. Thanks for the info, olavrb!

Hi Jeff, Olav's suggestions are appreciated but it looks as though google fiber does not have the ability to target individual devices for me to disable at-will. This is somewhat disappointing to me as I had this feature available with AT&T fiber before switching to google fiber. If you are able to provide any input to the google engineers, it should be suggested that users have the ability to pause wifi on targeted devices through the google fiber app (i.e turn wifi off for the playstation while not turning off wifi for all other devices until homework is done or chores are completed, etc.)
Thanks

Hey, Jmnuss.
Sorry to hear that the functionality you're looking for isn't available to you. I can definitely make sure that your comments are passed along to our internal teams as a suggested feature. Is there anything else I can do for you here?
Thanks.
