Can't add 4th AC1200 mesh access point

I purchased a 4-pack AC1200 mesh system (gen 2? no reset button) from Costco and was able to install 3 of the units with no problem.  I was unable to connect the 4th, so I assumed something was wrong with it and bought another single access point.  The results have been the same- unable to get it to connect to the network.  How should I go about trouble shooting to get this fourth (and now fifth) unit connected to the network?  I tried placing in next to the wired access point, tried wiring it to that main access point with no results.

What do you mean by 'unable to connect', can you give more detail?

Have you tried doing a factory reset on the points that won't connect? https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619?hl=en-AU

And given you just bought them I'd suggest getting onto Nest wifi support, they're usually very helpful: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

I get an error indicating the additional access point is unable to be added.  When you talk about a factory reset, this means I have to reset the three working devices and start over?

No, you can just reset the single point that's playing up. I believe they all have reset buttons somewhere, as per here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619

So you discover the device in Google Home, but during setup it says it can't be added?

I will circle back around to this install tomorrow, but my AC1200 units do not have a reset button, and since my 4th unit will not connect, I can't reset.  I will reset all devices tomorrow and post an update.

It could be difficult to find, it may be under the QR code, near the area where it says "Setup Network" on the bottom of the wifi device.

I was able to identify the reset button next to the QR code.  I reset all devices and was able to connect each device while sitting next to each other, then deployed each to their permanent location.  Thank you for your help.

Hi, coprserv.

It looks like you and Juzdu were able to work together well to get this sorted out. Thanks for letting us know you got things working! I just wanted to check in and see if there's anything else you needed or if you're all set for now.

Thanks!

I am all set.  The key was finding the reset button that does not in any way look like a button.
