Good Evening,
I live in Australia and am connected to the OPTUS network. I've had in working order Google Wifi Booster set. The router and 2 wofi points.
We've been renovating and I didn't hookup this google booster into my network due to renovations. Now I'm finally connecting it, it gets stuck when I add the WIFI POINTS onto the WIFI Network.
I add the router fine. I go to add the wifi points and it goes through all the steps and sits and gets stuck on CONNECTING YOUR WIFI POINT TO THE WIFI NETWORK. It just sits on that screen forever and does nothing.
I've reinstalled. Disconnected. Updated the app. Tried different Android to use to connect them. Brought the Wifi Points next to the router. Reset the wifi router, wifi points. Unplugged them etc. The whole shebang!
Any tips or ideas? It's the Optus Wifi Modem Ultra Gen 2.

Hi THOMAY,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest WiFi point is not connecting to your WiFi Network, but there's no need to worry; I'm happy to assist you right now.
I recommend using an Android device or an iOS device on a previous software build. We are aware of an issue impacting a limited number of users on Android while accessing the Google Home App version 3.28+. We're currently working on a fix to be included in a future app update. In the meantime, you can try reinstalling the Google Home App to resolve this issue. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Feel free to keep us posted if you have more questions.
Regards,
Gabriela

I managed to get it working by installing a previous version of Google Home from this site
