I bought a three pack of Nest Wifi Pro devices. I got the first one setup in bridge mode since I have a dual WAN router. So the point was linked to my switch and works great.
I wanted to add a second one since the 5,000 square feet of coverage is a lie so I ran an ethernet line from the same switch and plugged the second point in just like I did with the first. Problem was that once I told it to add to the network it did the stupid animation for a while and then just said "Couldn't add device" "It could be that you have 2 devices wired to the same modem...."
The ethernet port works perfectly when I plug my laptop into it.
It just seems like these devices don't want to work as pure access points.

Never mind. I'm just going to return this junk to Best Buy.
Between an app that assumes it knows what you need better than you do and tech support that doesn't know its own product I'm just not up for this.
