I bought a one pack Google wifi . I connected it to my spectrum modem & completed the set up .

Can I now disconnect my Google wifi modem from my spectrum modem & place it in another room in my home to extend the wifi signal across my house ?

Hello @RearsdntflSh

No, Google WiFi is not a WiFi extender. The primary Google WiFi unit must be connected to your internet service via Ethernet. You can get additional Google WiFi units to expand the coverage area provided by the primary, and those do not need to be connected to the primary via Ethernet.

Hey, RearsdntflSh.

It looks like you were able to get this worked out with MichaelP's help, but I wanted to follow up real fast to see if there's anything else you needed before I marked this one as resolved. If you need anything else, just let me know.

Thanks!
