google wifi no QR no setup key and no PSK

Hi,

I have a google wifi and I have lost the sticker from the bottom. I have done a factory reset on it and now cannot connect.

I have followed the instructions here https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9012064?hl=en-GB#zippy=%2Cgoogle-wifi-point

but the PSK is not displayed in the firmware read-out.

What do I do please?

What result do you get when you try this procedure...do you get a readout at all?

Yes, but the PSK field is empty.  There are quite a few threads on this issue, and it appears that Google have upgraded the firmware and this field is no longer provided with the read-out.

There are also threads detailing how to install a different firmware on to the system, but these require a USB-C connector.  Mine has a jack style connector for the power.

I'm therefore out of options unless someone has another solution.
