I have google wifi - I would like to see all websites visited. I have tried OpenDNS. It doesn't show all entries and it is not real time. Are there any local options? I was thinking about getting a low-cost router and having it in between the modem and google wifi - Has anyone tried this or a different approach? This is mainly for parental control.

Hello @grass
Google/Nest WiFi does not log web sites visited. It turns out not to be something that can be reliably done at the network layer, even more now that browsers are doing their own direct DNS resolution (so the original domain name lookups don't go through the DNS server in the local router(s)). I found the best tools for this sort of thing to be at the operating system level on each client device. Microsoft and Apple both have pretty good tools for this, and they should be more reliable than trying to do it at the packet level in a router.
