some of my devices are on primary network, but show as being 2.4 Ghz. Isn't the primary network 5Ghz

some of my devices are on primary network, but show as 2.4 Ghz. I also have a couple of devices on Guest network but show as 5.0 Ghz. I must be confused, because I thought the primary network is 5.0 and guest is 2.4?

No – both the primary and guest networks support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Client devices should select the access point and band that works best for them, and at least some client devices should switch between access points and between bands as they move around your home.
