SEVERAL people seem to be having problems getting their Nest Guard back online. Factory reboot: Nothing. Changed internet services: Nothing. I recognized I had the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 problem and took the suggested steps to remedy it. Nothing. Don't have the MAC address to bypass the system that way. Still nothing.
This was a bit spendy for my budget and I'm very disappointed, as I'm sure everyone else is who hasn't gotten an answer.
