How to remove Nest Detect?

With the end of life coming for Nest Secure and related products April 8, we're beginning to plan to move to something else.  That starts with removing the existing Google system and recycling it.

Does anyone know how to remove a bunch of Nest Detect sensors from doors/windows and adjacent trim without removing paint/finish?

Don't recycle. Send them overnight express mail with postage due to the azzhat VP at google that killed the product.
