Nest connect error na023

Defoster
Community Member

I recently switched Wi-Fi carriers and have been trying to move all my nest items over.

I have a Yale lock and I've been trying to connect my nest connect but I keep getting the na023 error.

I've factory reset the device. I've turned Bluetooth off and on. I've reset the router. I've turned off my cellular. I've moved the connect. Nothing is working.

I just purchased a Nest Yale lock and cant get the Nest Connect added to the Nest App for the life of me.  Even at it over 4 hours, tried every tip. I'm starting to just think the Nest Connect is faulty...

Hi there!

Thank you very much for sharing this information in this community! I understand that you are experiencing the NA023 error on your Nest x Yale lock since you changed your Wi-Fi and that you have been trying to resolve it for some time. Thank you very much for taking the time to try and fix it. I am here to help you!

To be able to share the correct troubleshooting steps, I would like to ask a few questions.

  • When and from where was the device purchased?
  • @Scotion, Do you see any error codes when you're setting up your Nest x Yale Lock?
  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
  • Can you connect to the internet with other devices?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair?
  • How far is the device from the router?

Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.

Best regards,

Eduardo
