Was there a recent software update to the Nest x Yale Lock? Since last week Thurdsday Nov 20, 2025 the keypad is not responsive.
I have done the following:
- replaced batteries and soft reset
- reset back to factory settings twice
- removed and reinstalled the door lock 4 times, and readded to the Nest app.
The keypad responds after factory reset allowing me to set a master code using the digital keypad. Then I follow the process to add the product to the Nest app with no errors. Upon readding to the Nest app, the Privacy Mode is automatically turned on by default on the Nest app. I then turn off the Privacy mode via the app but the keypad is still unresponsive.
I am able to lock and unlock manually and via the Nest app. The Nest app is communicating with the Lock. But the keypad is unresponsive after adding the lock to the Nest app.
Is anyone else having this issue?
