Nest x Yale Lock Guest Codes "Not working right now"

My Nest x Yale Lock gives the verbal error "This code isn't working right now" when adding a guest code to the system.

Existing codes work, but adding new codes, regardless of the actual code or name of the user, gives the same problem. 

I have existing guest codes that continue to work fine, this seems to be a new issue.

I appreciate you confirming that your existing codes work fine. I understand how important it is for you to be able to add new guest codes and maintain secure access to your home. To gather the necessary information, please answer the following questions:

  • Is the Nest app up to date?
  • Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the Nest app?
  • Is the guest's email shared on the structure, or is there a passcode already assigned to the guest's name?
