Nest x yale lock draining batteries

Beckyp10000

My Nest Yale lock worked great for 2-3 years but suddenly the batteries are needing to be replaced every three to five days!! It is draining the battery and something is defective. What is going on here? This seems like a recall issue! Why hasn’t Google Nest done anything to fix this? I don’t want to replace the lock after such a short time - not at $275!!!!  Google - please make this right. I have tons of Nest products at my properties.
