Security from highjackers

My accounts in the past were highjacked and they began recieving services under my information and casting through my devices whille controling my every move. I have since changed my google account device number etc. my question is, how can i prevent them from taking over my device again? Do i need to go buy a whole different device or can i prevent use of my services on this account?
