My Yale Assure 2 lock will attempt to lock, fully extend the deadbolt but will keep trying to extend the deadbolt (clicking) until it gives an error. The deadbolt will still be fully extended and locked but the app shows it as unlocked. Additionally, if I help it by turning it clockwise and holding it, it will register as locked but this can only be done from the inside. And if the door is open, the deadbolt fully extends as it should abd shows as locked. I’ve calibrated it half a dozen times with no change. Is the lock defective or installed incorrectly?
This (above) is from two years ago and exactly my problem in 2025. Help?

Hello, thomasdf
Thanks for reaching out to our Nest Community. We are so happy to assist you with your questions.
Unfortunately, as a Google Nest support representative, we specialize in Google products and services. We don't have the expertise to troubleshoot or provide support for third-party devices like Yale locks.
I recommend contacting Yale's customer support directly. They have the necessary knowledge and resources to diagnose and resolve issues with their products. You can usually find their contact information on their official website or within the Yale app itself.
I apologize that I can't be of more assistance in this case. I hope Yale support can quickly resolve the issue with your lock.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Kevin
