Yale Lock not showing lock / unlocked events

Mimmagee

The Yale has always worked fine. Within the past 2 weeks , I noticed the lock went offline, back online. The history line USED to be blue..and it showed whose code was used. Now the line is Green, and it does not show the activity on the timeline. We used the lock 4 times today alone, and nothing shows that a code was used. I have made sure the Nest Connect is firmly plugged in. I have 4 Nest Cameras that all work fine, along with the Nest Thermostat.

i was hoping to add a screenshot to this email, but I see no option. TIA!

Hi @Mimmagee

Thanks for posting to the community! I understand that for some weeks your Yale Lock has been going offline and your activity timeline has stopped recording lock and unlock events. I also see that your history timeline has changed from blue to green and is no longer displaying activity, even though you’ve used the lock four times. I know how important it is for your devices to function as expected, and I appreciate you double-checking that the Nest Connect is firmly plugged in and that your other devices are working fine. No worries; I am here to help.

To better assist you, I’d like to gather a bit more information:

  • What is the current color of the light on your Nest Connect? Is it solid or blinking?
  • Have you already tried unplugging the Nest Connect and plugging it back in?
  •  Do you currently have 'Privacy Mode' enabled on the lock?
  • Have you experienced any recent power outages in your home?
  • Have you tried any other troubleshooting steps? If so, could you describe what you did?

In addition, please attach a screenshot of the 'Green line' you see in the history. To help, I've included the steps on how to attach a picture or screenshot below:

  • Click the reply button in this thread.
  • Click on the camera icon located in the toolbar at the top of your reply.
  • A frame will appear; tap on "Choose files".
  • Select the screenshot.
  • Tap "Open" and the screenshot will appear in the frame.
Tap "Done" and your screenshot will appear in the reply box.
  • Tap the reply button to send.

Keep me updated.

Regards,
Beula
