t009 error nest x yale lock

Hi,

 

I installed the nest x yale lock and successfully installed a nest connect.

 

When I attempt to link the nest x yale lock to nest connect the message says that it has connected and is 'finishing setup.' I am then sent to a page that displays error T009 and advised to move the nest connect closer. This seems surprising as the nest connect is 5 feet away.

Can you please advise how to resolve this error?

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Can you try the following steps below? 

 

  1. Reset the joining device to default.
  2. Restart the modem and router.
  3. Move all devices being used for pairing closer to the router.
  4. Check the network settings.
