Hi All,
Is it possible at all to create an API connection or something that when a google nest cam detects activity (person, vehicle, animal) that you can then do something, turn on extra flood lights, house lights, set off a siren.
Regards,
Jason

Hey @Aus_Was_Here,
That capability isn't currently supported, but we'll share your interest with the right team. We don't have anything else to share right now, but stay tuned to the community for more news and updates!

Hey Jason,
Device Access APIs allow you to interact with Nest devices. There is a list of traits for cameras, such as CameraMotion, that you can use to retrieve events from the device.
Hope it helps,

Would you have an example of script which implements this? I’d like to turn on some lights on motion detection.

Is it possible to achieve the desired actions from events being triggered using IFTTT? (If this-then-that).
