I had a bunch of automations to set volume levels before starting music.. they were acting really wonky, so I went in and had a look.. I come to find out device.command.setVolume no longer works for Google Nest Max Displays.
It works fine for Nest Speakers, Nest Mini Hubs, but NOT Google Max Displays? Anyone know why? I checked the firmware and it's all up to date.. it worked 3 months ago? It won't allow you to set the volume for those devices and I have three.. good times.
This doesn't work:
- type: device.command.SetVolume # Set the volume of a given device.
volumeLevel: 30
devices:
# Displays
- Google Max - Kitchen
