Okay this is going to be a weird one ...Im baffled how and why...I live with my 88 year old uncle...put him on my internet..no problem...my modem is locked down with not sharing and password...UPnP disabled...at first I thought my Hub was hacked,it happens I hear, out of no where anytime he snapped pictures they would appear on my HUB,I would unplug and it would be gone...then I was sickened and pissed when a full frontal nude of him appeared, sick to my stomach,I mentioned nothing and have tried to fix with no success,Im sure it wasnt his intention and is totally unaware, sooo its no hacker and coming from within house...WTF!!!

Hi mikeej,

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I understand the feeling when something strange is happening on your Google Nest Hub. I'd love to dig deeper into this. It is possible that your uncle accidentally cast a photo to your Nest Hub. A few questions: what is the make and model of your uncle's phone/tablet? Did you add him as a home member on the Google Home app?

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi Muddi...just a quick reply until I can get better details...its a older LG cell, and no I have never added anyone,Id like to enter his phone when charging to see if and where to turn something off that could stop projecting as you mentioned,I looked briefly at his phone months ago for another matter and had a bugger understanding LGs system....my Samsung A53 is much easier to edit, where am I even looking to stop projecting on either phone, which I did know you could do on my own PC but never a NEST HUB,seems anything he snaps shows up on my Nest, startling the hell out of me...resorting to unplugging  and replugging...thank you. MJ🤔

Hey mikeej,

Thanks for the information. Currently, there's no option to turn off casting on the Google Home app. All devices connected to the same network will be able to cast to the Nest Hub. As an alternative, you can create a guest network and connect your uncle's device there so he can't cast.

Hope this helps.

Muddi

Hi Jake,I dont know if you read the post but Im still puzzled how a nude pic of himself can pop up on my Nest Hub out of nowhere, hes not savy enough to know how to do that or would want to...or any pic of anything...maybe he thinks hes sending it to his laptop....

Hi mikeej,

To confirm, have you tried to create a guest network and connect your uncles phone?

Hey mikeej,

You have log in to your router to turn it on. Once done, you can connect his phone or computer to the guest network. You will need the help of your network/router provider for help if you're not familiar with the router settings.
