Hello all,
I am in need of some help. I have been using the Google Home speaker since a few years now. Recently it would not start and I think the power adapter has gone faulty. The specifications page mentions the adapter as
Now the location I am in does not have a store that sells one similar.
Question is, I am planning to buy a Google Nest Audio or a Google Nest Hub. Will either of these devices have a power adapter that will be interchangeable with the Google Home speaker? Both of these devices have the following specifications for their power adapters.
But the question is, will the sockets be the same to use it on the Google Home as well. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hey fundamentals,
Great question! I can confirm that Google Home, Nest Audio, and Nest Hub have the same power adapter, but it is best if you could buy a power adapter that has the same specifications for the Google Home device. This is to prevent any issues in the future.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Hello Muddi,
Thanks for your reply and recommendation. Just have a follow up question, when you say they all have the same power adapter, does it also mean they have the same input jacks? Or in other words, the input jacks of a Nest or Nest Hub will also go in into the Google Home speaker?
Appreciate your time.

Hi there,
That's right, they all use the same size of DC power jack. Neither Google Nest Hub nor Google Nest Audio's power cord will fit the Google Home speaker. However, the Google Home speaker's power cord uses a right-angle DC power jack as it goes to the bottom of the speaker, while the Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Audio's cords are straight as they go to the back side. You can check with the store to see if they have a flat or right-angle DC connector you can use.
Best,
Alex
