The nest hub repleys 5 am is a Song from ...... this happens evereytime sind 4 weaks no matter wich time i say. Language settings german bzw. I would appreciate if somebody could offer me a solution. Hi Fritzw,

Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should, let’s further look into it. A few questions: Was it working fine before? If you verbally asked your Google Nest Hub “Hey Google, set an alarm”, does it work? How about via the German language?

I’ll look forward to your response.

Best,
Alex

Yes it worked fine for a year, only in the routine it dosen't work now, if i use a single language command it still works. And yes I use german language setting. It stoppen working since the last Update. I registered only there was one because you fixed a other Bug.

Hello Fritzw,

Got it. Let’s try to add a custom action to your Good night routine.

  • Open the Good night routine.
  • Remove the action to “Ask what the alarm time should be set for”.
  • Tap + Add action > Choose “Try adding your own”.
  • Type: Set an alarm > Done > Save.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,
Alex

I have noticed a few posts about this already, with no apparent solution. On my Nest Hub, I tell it to run the "Good Night" routine, it asks me what time to set the alarm. I tell it "6 AM" and instead of setting the alarm, it says "I can't help with that, but here are suggestions you can try" as if the phrase "6 AM" was said by itself, and not in context of setting an alarm. I can still set the alarm manually. This routine used to work fine, then it stopped working, then it seemed to work again briefly, and now it's not working again. This sure looks like a backend issue on Google's end, and it doesn't seem like they have any plans to fix it. Has anyone found a solution for this?
