Any way to turn off touch controls on Google Home Mini first gen or second gen speakers?

I'm looking for a way to completely disable the touch controls on my original Google Home Mini (1st gen). Has anyone found a solution for this? The touch sensitivity is causing accidental triggers and I'd prefer to just use voice commands.

Anyone know if this is possible through the Google Home app or another method? Thanks in advance for any help!

There's no way to disable touch controls.

For 2nd Gen Nest Minis I would hang it on a wall to get it out of the way.
