Audio category in Google Home settings menu

Hello,

I'm driving crazy. I don't know how to access to the audio section in the Google Home settings menu. I don't what to do to access the audio settings. I need to do this in order to split the audio and video between a Bluetooth speaker and the Chromecast device.

Thanks.

Hey there,

Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.

I understand that audio issues within the Home app can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please let me know.

Best regards,

Hey there,

Yes, I still have trouble adding my Bluetooth device to the Google Home app via the following pathway: Settings/Audio/... I don´t see the section audio when entering the settings menu. It's a way to get this audio section implemented in my menu?

Thanks,

IMT

Hey there IMT77,

Sorry to hear you're still having issues with this, I'm happy to take a look further to see how I can help.

Will you please let me know if you have tried this pathway?

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Select your Google Home device from the main screen.
  3. Tap the Settings cog to access device settings.
  4. Scroll down to Paired Bluetooth Devices.
  5. Tap Enable Pairing mode.
  6. Select the speaker you want to connect.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Hey GarrettDS,

When I tap on the Settings cog of my Google Home app, I can't find the option Paired Bluetooth Devices. There is something I can do to get this option?

Cheers,

IMT

I'm so sorry that you're still having issues with this.

Would you mind letting me know where you are located?

Also what kind of phone do you have and what operating version do you have? Also what version of the app do you have installed?

I look forward to your response.
