I'm trying to use the broadcast to device feature but it doesn't seem to ping my phone at all. I've tried this on an S22 and Z Fold 4. All broadcasts go through the speakers but never the mobile devices. I don't get a notification either. My wife and I are on a Family Group with notifications turned on for Google app and Home app.

Hi bori92,
Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. What country are you in? Confirm if the family broadcast was set up properly. Also, try to toggle notifications in the Google Home app off and on.

Alex

I'm in the US. I toggled notifications on Home and Google apps. I just tried it outside of the house, my wife and I both got a notification with the transcript but when selecting the notification it said "sorry something went wrong, please try again".

Sounds like this feature is being deprecated according to Google's latest Assistant update, can you confirm? https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/13971691
"Using your voice to call a device or broadcast a message to your Google Family Group. You can still broadcast to devices in your home."
This is similar to what we experienced; we could see a notification on our mobile phones but couldn't actually hear the messages after selecting the notifications. Broadcasting did work pretty consistently for the devices in the home.
