Broadcasts not playing

Hello, 

I'm experiencing an issue with my Nest Hub 2nd generation.

When a broadcast is sent to my Nest Hub, the audio does not play; I only see a transcript of the message. I cannot find anything in the settings to change this - can someone help please.

Sorry to hear about this. When did you start noticing this? Does it work before?

 

Let's go ahead and try to reboot your Google Nest devices as well as the router simply by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes. Rebooting the router helps to eliminate network congestion and refresh your network settings. Lastly, let's make sure that the Google Nest devices are within a good range from your router preferably within 10-15 feet away for a good connection.
