C by GE bulbs continuously loose connection

My C by GE bulbs are continuously loosing connectivity with my Google mini speakers. This happens in 2 different rooms with 4 different bulbs. One room is a small bedroom so there isn’t a distance issue. The bulbs WILL stay connected to their native app, so that eliminates WiFi issues. Google needs to step up here.

I'm having the same issue with the C by GE bulbs. I have to reset my google home (unplug for a minute & replug) then it works that day....... Next morning, same bull--it!

Has anyone seen if this issue is happening with Alexa systems or if its just a Google issue?

Yes, having the same problems for weeks now. Bulbs will work fine then just disconnect. Sometimes they show as not responding. I read that the problem is with google home. I have reset all my google home devices  and the bulbs will work fine for maybe a day or two but will then go back to not responding.

Same here. We have 5 rooms plus outside lights. Phillips hues lights and hub (10 lights) no issues but the C by GE (15 lights) mixed in with the Phillips will not respond to Google home device or home app. Resetting each device (5) does not work. I have to reboot entire network, sometimes more than once, for the lights to work. Then about 2 days later, back to square one. It would cheaper to just switch out to Alexa then to replace the lights. Just sayin' but really thinking about it after seeing this being a long term problem.

Google wants to know if I've received and answer to my problem...well Google, how about suggesting an answer?

Hey there,

Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to hop in here to make sure that we got this addressed. I have sent this information over to our engineering team and they ask that you provide them feedback through the Google Home app to them. They suggest including the keywords, "#Lights" along with the name brand of the lights and a short description of what you're encountering.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Have a great day.

I have repeatedly shared feedback via whichever speaker was experiencing the issue at the moment. My feedback usually goes

"Hey, Google, leave feedback"

"What would you like to report"

"Fix connectivity issues with C by GE lightbulbs"

If there is a more specific script I should follow, please let me know, I will write it down and send it verbatim, every time the issue occurs. I will also start using the Google Home app to report the issue as well with '#Lights'.

Hey folks,
It looks like we haven't heard back from the OP so I'm going to go ahead and lock the thread. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to create a new thread.

Have a great day,

Count me in as being another frustrated user in attempting to have my Google home mini connect with my two C by GE lightbulbs. The issue has been happening for months where the connection is lost between the two, then randomly works for a day or two, then nothing. Today I deleted the bulbs from the Google home app, factory reset (have done this numerous times), set them up in the C by GE app first, then in the Google home app. By all appearances it was successful, but Google Home still can't control the bulbs and I can't control them through the Google Home app either. I have turned off my wi-fi and turned it back on again, as well as unplugged Google Home mini multiple times, and still nothing. What is happening? Extremely frustrated that nothing fixes this problem.

So....Google locked out the previous thread 8 minutes before I was able to respond the NO, THEY HAVE NOT FIXED THE PROBLEM. Ignoring a problem does not make it go away. I've reported the problem through the feedback on the Google Home App as requested using #Lights to no avail.

Hey, Google .... What is the REAL solution?

My C by GE bulbs are continuously loosing connectivity with my Google mini speakers. This happens in 2 different rooms with 4 different bulbs. One room is a small bedroom so there isn’t a distance issue. The bulbs WILL stay connected to their native app, so that eliminates WiFi issues. Google needs to step up here.
