Camera disabled on neat hub display- help?

The other day I set up the camera on the display to let me check in on the dogs while I'm at work. Worked SUPER well.

Now yesterday and today it says connective is off when I try to access via nest app.  On the display itself, it mentions privacy mode needs to be deactivated to access.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do that. I've tried the toggle switch on the back of the display for audio & visual, I've looked through settings on the device and through the app and can find nothing except for a Yale lock.

Can someobe please help?  I'm so lost lol.

Hi, @Kdzie,

Thank you so much for posting in the community. I’m truly sorry your Nest Hub is in privacy mode; I’m happy to assist!

To deactivate privacy mode, please follow this:

  • Locate the mute switch on the back of your Nest Hub Max.
  • Toggling the switch to the right.
  • The switch should not display any colors when privacy mode is off.

If those troubleshooting steps don't work, perform a factory reset on the Google Nest Display and set it up again.

Please let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Ana
