I tried it. It is possible to view the camera on the Nest Hub Max on the Nest Hub Max's screen.

Our camera on our Nest Hub Max is controlled on the Nest Hub Max.  So, I turned on the camera and then said to the Nest Hub Max, "Show the [xxxxxxxxxxx] camera".
