I purchased nest hub max so my husband who doesn’t have a phone can call me when I am out, the hub is set up using my mobile number, when he tries to call me my phone doesn’t ring, he can call other people in the contacts but not me, is it because it is calling itself? Can I resolve this?

Try saying "Hey Google, call [phone number]". Looks as though it won't recognise your own phone number as a dialable contact, even if you add it to a contact using a different name. As for shortening "Hey Google, call [phone number]", you could create a routine in the Google Home app with a shorter, more friendly phrase, then when triggered has "Hey Google, call [phone number]" as the action.

Thank you I tried this it didn’t help, looks like I’ll have to get a mobile number just to use for the hub, disappointed it won’t call number used for set up

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help, @David_K and @RachelGomez123.
@ChrisRuth, thanks for posting. This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. Did you set up Duo calling, Google-supported calls or Carrier calling? What message are you getting from your Nest Hub Max when using this feature?
Check this link for more information.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Juni
