I've wasted 4 hours of my time trying to figure this out!!! Is this task to be done using my Android phone or the hub itself? And, please, do not start your reply with the words "it's easy". I'm a graduate engineer and one of the orginal engineers at Intel in 1973. This task is making me feel really stupid. Help!!!

There are a few setup steps to follow here. Try these steps:
Your Bluetooth device should now be paired with your Nest Hub and all media playback should now play on the external speaker.

I still cannot get this to work! Here's where I'm stuck: in step #4, where is the "tile" that I am to "touch and hold"?? Is the tile a button? Is the tile some type of icon? Is the tile somewhere in the scroll bar area? Hell, maybe the tile is not even on the Hub itself; and, rather, is on my Android phone? This frustrating experience has caused me to be sympathetic with Homer Simpson when he exclaimed: "WHERE THE HELL IS THE "ANY" KEY?? So, where is the "tile"?

You follow those steps on your phone or tablet in the Google Home app.
Open the Google Home app.
Touch and hold the tile for your Nest Hub.

The proposed solutions DO NOT WORK!!! I've given up trying to solve this. I will never again buy anything from Google!!!

Hi everyone,
Checking in if you still need help with this?
If anyone here is still experiencing the same thing, let's try to perform a complete reset to see if it changes its behavior. Feel free to update this post, otherwise, I'll be locking the thread.
Best,
Princess

Hi all,
Do you see your Google speaker or display in the Google Home app? It should be there in the list of your devices?
