Can’t get B-Hyve hub/sprinklers working with Google Home

Hi all,

I have 2 B-Hyve tap faucet timers that are Bluetooth controlled via a B-Hyve Wi-Fi hub. I have linked my B-Hyve account to Google Home and I can see a compatible device, however, on my Google home display it shows as ‘stopped’ and on my Nest it always says ‘loading’. On the Nest, I can select it and it displays a play and stop button which seem to do nothing at all. Additionally, if the play and stop button worked, which time will they activate as I have 2 which I use independently. This has been an issue for over a year and I just gave up in the end and concluded that B-Hyve hub isn’t really supported.

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you have inconvenience when you connect your B-Hyve hub on the Google Home App; no worries, I am here to help! Please could you confirm that you tried the next correct steps to setup your b-Hyve hub on the Google Home App?

 

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Devices > Add > Works with Google Home.
  3. Select the device maker from the list.
  4. To complete the setup, follow the in app steps.

 

If you've already tried these steps, please let me know what troubleshooting steps you've taken.

Yep, these are the exact steps I have taken so far  I’ve tried removing and re-adding the device, and unlinking and relinking the B-Hyve account. Still no luck.
