Can't remove device from Google Home

I have been plagued by ghost devices for years. i finally figured out where to delete them

myaccount.google.com/device-activity

now google finally recognizes the 1 shield that is still in my home

heads up that google's instructions say to setup a new home - that was a giant pain and still didn't fix it

i generally wouldn't recommend google home at this point because it's getting buggier and is not actively supported/developing
