Cannot add person to google home

I've tried adding someone by using their email address as you are supposed to.  The difference is that that person has an email address that is corporate type and in the background is her Gmail address but every time it says could not send invite right now, try again and it keeps happening...

My suggestion is for the person you want to add should set up a gmail account that is a personal account and not one owned by their educational institution. It makes no difference that the gmail account is in the background. My understanding is that personal sharing is for use with personal email accounts.

I observe such problems again and again and then a few days later it works again, while the phone support as always gets nothing.
