Cannot finalise google home

Trying to set up google duo but cannot get phone to connect to device, states to connect to home wifi which ph is connected to.

A few questions: was it working before? What country are you located in? Have you tried reinstalling your Google Home app?

Give these steps a try: 

• Make sure your devices are connected to the same network and within 15-20 feet of your router.
• On a mobile device, open the Google Home app.
• Tap the device card of the preferred speaker or display.
• At the top right, tap Settings > Voice and video calls.
• Follow the in-app instructions for set up.
