I have been buying Google Nest hubs since they started being sold in the Netherlands. Strange is that three out of four of them (the one not presenting the problem is a Hub Max) started presenting a black line on the left corner of the display. This line then becomes a bar and a few day later half of the screen is black. This process goes on until the whole screen is black. The device reacts to touch (I made a mock to know where the buttons were located based on a working device), everything else works just fine, but the screen simply dies.
I was wondering if more users have had the same experience, and since these devices are no longer covered by a warranty I can't claim a repair.
Or are they made to stop working after two years? (Wink)
What do you guys think the problem might be? Any way to avoid it or revert it?
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and eventually reply.
